Our mission at Inner Splendor Yoga is to provide clear and simple tools to inspire you to take care of your mind, spirit and body. Because we love simplicity, we believe that focusing on the basics is enough to reveal and experience your own inner splendor: a natural state of health, balance and wellbeing.

Our Collaborators

Kanta Barrios is a well-respected yoga instructor based in Dublin, Ireland.

Kanta had her first experience of yoga at the age of six in her hometown Mexico City. She spent 12 years as a long term resident and student of yoga, meditation, and philosophy in Siddha Yoga Meditation Ashrams in India, the United States and around the world traveling with her main teacher, Gurumayi Chidvilasananda. She has also studied Yoga and Therapeutics with some of the world's leading yoga teachers and yoga schools. In her teaching she expresses her deep love and gratitude for yoga and her teachers and joyfully shares her lifelong experience and practice with her students.

Kanta is passionate about yoga therapeutics, meditation and philosophy. She believes a steady yoga and meditation practice with a clear intention can open and strengthen the body, mind and heart and help us improve in every aspect of our lives. Kanta's highly acclaimed DVD release, Yoga for Beginners, is designed to help people cultivate strength, flexibility and relaxation.

This background, combined with her professional experiences in the world of film and global traveling, has made Kanta a sophisticated, graceful teacher committed to making yoga accessible to a wide range of students. Her students appreciate her down-to-earth and light approach and her ability to make the exploration and practice of yoga fun and relevant.

David Harshada Wagner

David has been teaching meditation and self-empowerment to people all over the world in all kinds of venues since 1994. Classically trained in the Indian wisdom traditions of oga, Bhakti, Vedanta, and Tantric Shaivism, his teachings come from his decades of personal transformation and his experience serving others to find their authentic path to deep happiness.

David serves on the faculties of Yogaglo.com, Kripalu, and Omega Institutes, and travels widely working with people from all walks of life.  His teaching style is bold, dynamic, and unique, approachable to students from all walks of life. Most recently, David has taken on the mission of serving the transformational needs of men. He’s currently at work on a book for men and offers regular men’s groups and retreats. David lives with his family in New York City.

Christine Wushke
Christine Wushke is a certified hatha yoga and meditation teacher with almost two decades of practice and a commitment to assisting students. Christine's goal as a teacher is to inspire students to experience the divine stillness, the unutterable peace, that is within each human being. Having realized her own inner truth, she empowers others to realize theirs.
